Old school hero Astroboy in probably the cutest toy version you could possibly wish for. This figure is 2.75 (7cm) tall. So its uber-cute in a small form factor. They run this Japanese anime of Astroboy episodes on Adultswim super early in the mornings now...which is super cool if you can get up at 5:30am. That doesn't include me unfortunately. I need Tivo. But Astroboy will save the day!

This is a great toy for any of those bubble wrap popping fiends...err...friends in your life. They can pop all they want to feed their addiction. I would have loved this as a kid. Now as a responsible adult, I think it would get extremely annoying if someone kept popping this around me. Unless I was the one doing it of course. OK, I will admit it, I'm the bubble wrap popping fiend who likes to annoy people with continuous popping sounds. I love this simple cool toy. Its also available in black, blue and pink colors.

This is the cutest and most lovable Clone Trooper/Storm Trooper I have ever seen. This stylized caricature style is cool. Its like the cartoon version, but taken to a whole new level. But don't get me wrong, this lovable Clone Trooper still looks like he will blast your shorts off if you aren't careful.
The figure is available here and is posable vinyl and stands a good 8 inches (20cm) tall. Think if you had an entire army of these Clone Troopers? That would be awesome. Two or three though is just as cool if you pose them and set them up in strategic positions around your office or bedroom to ambush anyone coming in. I think they combine the perfect blend of cool and cute. Chicks would dig your Clone Troopers. And guys would dig them too. I predict a battle brewing over any of these Clone Trooper figures that you buy.

I'll start off this cool toys blog with something from my all time favorite Japanese anime series, Neon Genesis Evangelion. The mysterious and beautiful Rei Ayanami super posable action figure. This new figure from Revoltech looks amazing. The details are perfect with Rei Ayanami in her pilot suit. The good thing about it is that its not a static figurine, but you can pose it anyway you'd like judging from the barely perceptible joints.
